Basketball at this age will involve developing previously learned skills and introducing advanced techniques for body position and defensive positioning. This will be a 12 week program, 10 weeks of regular season with the final two weeks being playoffs. Scores will be kept and standings compiled from the first week. The goal of combining Sixth, Seventh, and Eighth grade girls is to have enough teams to form a complete division, while creating a competitive environment where all players can have fun. Each team will have at least 1 practice per week and coaches will be expected to have a practice plan that focus on developing team play and individual skill development.

Coaches will be provided with all of the drills and knowledge available to the 1st through 5th grade programs. They are free to implement and coach their practices as they see fit. There will be a link to various web resources and information on the website and maintained by Easton Youth Basketball.
