Our Easton Recreation Basketball Program is designed for children from Kindergarten through High School, providing athletes of all skill levels with the opportunity to play, improve their basketball abilities, and enjoy the game. This inclusive league focuses on equal participation and friendly competition, making sure every child has a chance to develop while having fun.
For grades 2-8, we offer a weekday skills clinic in addition to Saturday games. Please note that for Kindergarten and 1st grade, there are no weekly practices—just Saturday clinics.

Program Breakdown by Age Group
Kindergarten and 1st Grade Program (Coed)
- Format: Skills clinic
- Objective: Focus on fundamental skills such as dribbling, passing, and shooting, gradually building toward team play. By February, the clinic progresses from 1-on-1 to 5-on-5 team games.
- Schedule: Saturdays at 8:30 AM at Dana Barros Basketball Club

2nd Grade Boys Program
- Format: Teams organized for skill work and games
- Objective: Focus on a specific skill or team concept, followed by a game
- Basket Height: 8 feet
- Schedule: Meets once per week, Saturday mornings
2nd & 3rd Grade Girls Program
- Format: Teams organized for skills and scrimmages
- Objective: Weekly skills clinics with Saturday games, including 15-20 minutes of additional skill work followed by a 40-45 minute scrimmage
- Basket Height: 8 feet
- Schedule: One weekday skills clinic and Saturday games

3rd & 4th Grade Boys Program
- Format: Team-based with a coach
- Objective: Skills development through one weekday clinic and Saturday morning games at Richardson Olmsted
- Schedule: Weekday evening skills clinic and Saturday morning games
4th & 5th Grade Girls Program
- Format: Team-based with a coach
- Objective: Players focus on skills during one weekday clinic, followed by games on Saturday mornings at Easton Middle School
- Schedule: Weekday evening skills clinic and Saturday morning games
5th & 6th Grade Boys Program
- Format: Team-based with a coach
- Objective: Develop skills through a weekday evening clinic and compete in Saturday late morning/early afternoon games
- Schedule: Weekday evening skills clinic and Saturday late morning/early afternoon games
6th, 7th & 8th Grade Girls Program
- Format: Combined teams due to annual player numbers
- Objective: Skills clinic during the week with Saturday morning games
- Schedule: Weekday evening skills clinic and Saturday morning games
Register 6th, 7th & 8th Grade Girls
7th & 8th Grade Boys Program
- Format: Team-based with a coach
- Objective: Players participate in one weekday clinic and play games on Saturday afternoons
