Easton Rec Basketball for Kindergarten age children thru High School.  The goal for our Recreation Basketball program is to provide an opportunity for athletes of all skill levels to play basketball and continue to develop their skills.  This is an inclusive league focused on equal participation for all in a friendly competitive game format.  For grades 2-8 there will be a weekday skills clinics along with games on Saturday mornings.  There are NO WEEKLY PRACTICES for the K-1 clinic.  

Kindergarten and 1st grade 

Program is coed and is a skills clinic format. We start with fundamental skills in December ( dribbling/passing/shooting ) and progressively work towards team play in February, starting with 1 on 1, then 3 on3, and then finally 5 on 5. Meets on Saturdays at 8:30AM at Dana Barros Basketball Club.  The 2023-24 Schedule is Dec 9th, 16th, 23rd, Jan 6th, 13th, 27th, Feb 3rd, 10th, 17th & 24th  

Boys 2nd Grade Program

Boys will be organized into teams. Baskets will be at the 8' height. Each week the group will focus on a particular skill or team concept, and end the session with a game. This program meets once per week, Saturday morning.

Girls 2nd and 3rd Grade Program

Girls will be organized into teams. Baskets will remain at the 8' height, Each week there will be a weekday skills clinic along with a Saturday game consisting of additional skill work for 15-20 min followed by scrimmages for 40-45 min.  

Boys 3rd and 4th Grade Program

All players are assigned to a team with a coach.  There will be one weekday skills clinic in the evening.  The games will be played on Saturdays mornings at Richardson Olmsted.  

Girls 4th and 5th Grade Program

All players are assigned to a team with a coach. There will be one weekday skills clinic in the evening. Games will be on Saturday mornings at Easton Middle School.

Boys 5th and 6th Grade Program

All players are assigned to a team with a coach.  There will be one weekday skills clinic in the evening. The games will be on Saturday Late Morning/ Early Afternoon.

Girls 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Program

All players are assigned to a team with a coach. There will be one weekday skills clinic in the evening. Games on Saturday mornings.

Note 3 grades are combined due to number of players annually. 

Boys 7th and 8th Grade Program

All players are assigned to a team with a coach. There will be one weekday skills clinic in the evening.  Games are on Saturday afternoon.
